Arrive at Chandigarh or Shimla and drive towards Sangla. Cover Shimla sightseeing on the way, halt for lunch and sightseeing, then continue towards Sangla for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out and travel to Chitkul, the last village on the old Indo-Tibetan trade route. Explore the scenic Baspa Valley and its surroundings before continuing to Kalpa for an overnight stay.
Drive from Kalpa towards Tabo via Nako. Explore Nako Lake and the village surroundings before entering the dramatic cold-desert landscape of Spiti Valley. Visit Gue village and its naturally preserved Buddhist monk mummy, then continue to Tabo and visit Tabo Monastery.
Continue towards Kaza with a visit to Dhankar Monastery. Enjoy the spectacular mountain landscapes of Spiti before checking into your hotel in Kaza.
Enjoy a full-day excursion from Kaza to Key Monastery, Kibber Village and Hikkim. Explore the high-altitude Himalayan settlements and visit the famous post office at Hikkim before returning to Kaza.
After breakfast, begin the journey back towards Sarahan. Cover the remaining sightseeing opportunities along the route and enjoy local sightseeing around Sarahan before your overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and travel towards Chandigarh or Shimla. Your Spiti Valley journey concludes with drop-off at the airport or railway station as planned.
