Frequently Asked Questions | The Musafir Diaries

Question 1

What types of travel packages does The Musafir Diaries offer?

Accepted Answer

We offer curated travel packages covering Himalayan destinations, cultural journeys, road trips, family holidays and other travel experiences. Packages can include destinations, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing and meals depending on the selected itinerary.

Question 2

Can I customise a travel package according to my requirements?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our packages can be discussed and customised according to your travel dates, group size, preferred destinations, stay preferences and itinerary requirements. The final itinerary and pricing depend on the services and availability selected.

Question 3

What is included in the price of a travel package?

Accepted Answer

Package inclusions vary by itinerary. Depending on the package, they may include accommodation, meals, transportation, sightseeing, permits, parking, tolls and other specified services. Please check the inclusions and exclusions listed on the individual package before booking.

Question 4

Are flights and train tickets included in the package price?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. Flights and train tickets depend on the individual package and are generally listed separately in the exclusions when they are not included. Always review the package inclusions and exclusions or confirm with our team before booking.

Question 5

How do I book a travel package with The Musafir Diaries?

Accepted Answer

Start by selecting a package and sharing your preferred travel dates, number of travellers and requirements with us. Our team can then confirm the itinerary, availability, inclusions and applicable pricing before your booking is finalised.

Question 6

Can the itinerary be changed after I have made an enquiry?

Accepted Answer

Itinerary changes can be discussed before the booking is confirmed. Changes may affect the availability and cost of hotels, transportation, sightseeing and other services, so the revised itinerary and pricing should be confirmed before finalising the trip.

Question 7

How does pricing work for children travelling with adults?

Accepted Answer

Child pricing and accommodation arrangements can vary depending on the package, hotel and age of the child. Please provide the children's ages when making an enquiry so the applicable arrangements and pricing can be confirmed.

Question 8

Can I choose or change the hotel included in my package?

Accepted Answer

Hotel options depend on the selected package, destination and availability. If you have a preferred property or room category, mention it during the enquiry and our team can check the available options and any applicable price difference.

Question 9

What happens if weather affects my travel plans?

Accepted Answer

Mountain travel can be affected by weather, road conditions, landslides, closures and other unforeseen circumstances. In such situations, sightseeing or travel arrangements may need to be rescheduled or changed depending on the conditions and available alternatives.

Question 10

Will I have support during my trip?

Accepted Answer

Support arrangements depend on the package and services included in your booking. The relevant package details will specify the available coordinator, driver or other travel support. If you need assistance during your journey, use the contact details provided with your confirmed booking.
