A thoughtfully paced itinerary that leaves room for both discovery and simply being there.
Arrive at Leh Airport and meet the representative for your transfer to the hotel. Check in and spend the day resting and acclimatizing to the high altitude. Enjoy welcome tea and coffee at the hotel and, if comfortable, take a short evening walk towards the local market. Overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast, proceed towards the Leh-Srinagar Highway for sightseeing. Visit Hall of Fame, Spituk Monastery, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and the spectacular confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. Later visit Shanti Stupa and enjoy free time exploring the local market before returning to the hotel in Leh.
After breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass. Enjoy spectacular views of the snow-capped Himalayan ranges around the high mountain pass before continuing towards Nubra. After hotel check-in, enjoy a camel safari in the evening. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
After breakfast, travel towards the breathtaking Pangong Lake via the Shayok River route. Enjoy the crystal-blue waters and dramatic Himalayan surroundings of the lake. Spend time at the popular shooting point associated with the film 3 Idiots before checking into your resort or cottage. Dinner and overnight stay at Pangong.
After breakfast, return towards Leh via Changla Pass. If weather permits, enjoy the sunrise around Pangong before crossing the spectacular mountain pass. On the way, visit Shey Palace, the famous 3 Idiots School and Thiksey Monastery. Reach Leh by evening and enjoy free time for shopping.
After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight. Your Ladakh journey comes to an end with memories of the Himalayan landscapes and mountain adventure.
